Vivid Skies

Ever notice how some nights the skies just seem so vivid. It's something I've come to notice a lot living here in Santa Barbara, the skies just seem to be so beautiful and blue on good nights like tonight. I think it helps that there is no moon out. I always say 'Strange things happen in the absence of a moon." Coming out of the gym tonight I was struck with the beautiful cerulean of the evening sky and the contrast against the dark green of the giant 'Widow Maker' eucalyptus trees. I guess I should have taken a picture.
